Join us for the Texas Attorney General Democratic Primary Debate and One-on-one conversation with Congressman Colin Allred.
Denton Together and UNT Democrats are featuring the first major Democratic Primary event for 2026!
Texas State Senator Nathan Johnson and former Galveston Mayor Joe Jaworski will face off in their first debate, moderated by Jason Whitely of WFAA's "Inside Texas Politics."
Following the debate, Jason will sit down with former U.S. Congressman Colin Allred for a one-on-one conversation.

Denton Together is a local Political Action Committee that works collaboratively and focuses exclusively on local elections in Denton County, Texas. These are the elections that have the biggest impact on our daily lives.
We support forward-thinking Democratic candidates who will protect local control, responsible growth, community safety, public education and the partnership between local businesses and their workforces. Once elected, we expect they will govern with empathy, integrity and strategic vision.
Denton Together is a leader in local politics. We’re building a strong COALITION between elected officials, current and future candidates, Democratic clubs that focus on this type of support and YOU-the voter. We work to build awareness about local elections, register voters and create engagement.
Denton Together has supported 18 WINNING ELECTIONS since its inception. We take seriously our commitment to recruit and support winning candidates.
